Joel Lybbert is a professional cowboy who teaches little cowpokes one of the most important skills in a cowboy’s life, roping.

This unique rope making and roping workshop is for all inspiring cowboys and cowgirls. Participants will learn all the parts of the rope, how to coil the rope, build a loop, feed and swing it overhead, and practise throwing it at a roping dummy. Joel brings a 100-year-old rope making machine which transforms twine into a rope for each child which is theirs to keep.

Joel takes the kids on a journey on how he became a buffalo riding, colt starting professional cowboy as he puts on an impressive demonstration of cowboy skills showcasing rope tricks and whip cracking.

His story has highs and lows but his message is one of resilience having a vision and following your dreams.
