Dallas’s traditional Hoop dancing is a beautiful method of story-telling and appreciating spiritual significance. By interlocking hoops on the body to represent animals and symbols his majestic performance is a sacred aspect of traditional healing ceremonies that represents the never-ending circle of life.
Dallas is an Aboriginal entertainer from Alexander First Nation (Kipohtakaw) Treaty 6. He started performing in 2006 at the Calgary Stampede and since then has gone on to become a four-time World Hoop Dance Champion. His 60-minute performance depicts the philosophies and concepts of Native Culture with a magical combination of dance, flute playing, and motivational speech.
