Firefly creates a unique combination of aerial acts and theatre which has captivated audiences nation-wide and beyond. Through fusing circus and theatrical storytelling, these powerful performances are awe-inspiring. Firefly Theatre’s acrobats perform in the air with stunning displays of athleticism and grace using aerial silks including aerial hoop, silks hoop, corde lisse, aerial straps, trapeze and other assorted objects that they hang in the sky. On the ground they astound with a combination of rhythmic contortion, comedy hula hoops, acrobalance and more.
Their productions can be performed indoors or outdoors and have taken place inside theatres, museums, convention centres, nightclubs, and outside at fairs and festivals, in squares and intersections and even suspended from buildings.
There are 30 – 45 minute shows such as Under the Sea for children, Celebrate for children and adults, or Hotel Circo for adults, as well as custom performances or aerial bartending can be tailored to your event.
