Yukon Dan (Dan Moore) a world champion gold panner presents a one-of-a-kind gold panning workshop for all ages. In his workshops, Dan connects gold panning with earth science, geology, natural resources, and the history of gold panning in Canada. Using two portable, gravel-lined “streams”, participants will have the opportunity to try gold panning for themselves! He also brings a marvelous display of panning equipment and gold nuggets.
